The two radio stations of the Bohol Chronicle Radio Corp. topped this year’s survey conducted by the Holy Name University for Research and Local Governance, a well respected reasearch outfit conducting annual surveys here.
DYRD AM landed high as the most listened to Bohol-based radio station with leadership rating of 13%, followed by DYTR AM with 6%. The listenership of DYRD recorded high ratings for Inyong Alagad, anchored by Fred Araneta and Chito Visarra, 22%, DYRD Balita of Atoy Cosap, 20%, and 7a.m. CBB Breakfast News with 13%.
DYRD’s supremacy was highest in the city with 67% against DYTR’s 8% only. In the first district, DYRD got 25%, against 15% of DYTR while in the 3rd dist, DYRD got 3% against DYTR’s 2%. It was only in the 2nd district that DYTR led by a point (4%) against 3% of DYRD.
In the urban center, DYRD got 34% while DYTR has 8% only. In the rural, TR got the 7% while RD trailed close with 6%.
However, DYHP, which is a drama station got over-all 34% to top the survey conducted last April 3-20 this year.
Meanwhile, DYRD 102.3 FM landed as the most listened local FM station with 14% against 911-FM’s 5% or a lead of 9%.
In the city, DYRD 102.3 FM dominated the survey with 61% against 911-FM’s 19%. In the 1st district, DYRD FM got 35% against 911 FM’s 15% only. In the 2nd district, 1% for DYRD FM, zero for 911 FM. DYRD FM pooled 5% against 1% in the 3rd district survey. Over-all survey leader is 97.1 of Cebu with 20%.
